Building the Problem-Solving Machine – Eric Verzuh

Students from my classes will recognize Eric Verzuh as the author of one of our textbooks, The Fast Forward MBA in Project Management.  His recent article, Building the Problem-Solving Machine: Team Building Guidelines for Project Managers, defines  and offers guidelines for developing  high performance teams.   As always, Eric offers concrete, usable advice.

    Thanks for posting on this topic. Unlike line management roles, which have time to create a team culture, project managers have to establish their (cross-functional) team quickly. Eric Verzuh’s guidelines can certainly help project managers build a team quickly. Building team building activities into the plan is a great insight.
