Are You Delivering the Call to Action?

Whether it is a meeting, an email or a conversation, if we want something, we must ask for it.  We spend time outlining, explaining and providing rationales, yet we often drop the ball when it comes to the call for action.  If we expend the time and effort to communicate, we must complete the cycle by clearly and concisely delivering the call to action.  When I send an email, I put my call to action in the subject line.  No meeting is complete without a call to action.  Take a look at your most recent communications.  What was your message?  What did you need?  Did you get what you needed?  If not, did you ask for it?    Bring it home and deliver the call to action!

    You won’t get it if you don’t ask! (I think your Call to Action was a comment?) LOL! Seriously, good post.
