One of the questions I am asked most frequently, is how I deal with difficult employees/team members/people.  A difficult question to answer succinctly.  Difficult people come in many flavors.  Context plays a part.   Is the difficulty chronic or acute?  Additionally, someone you consider difficult, may not be difficult for me.  There are many factors involved.

Avoiding addressing issues with difficult people has a negative effect on teams and morale.  These issues rarely go away without intervention.  I have listed some helpful resources below.  What techniques work for you?
